Joanna Marie performs for ROH
Joanna Marie shall feature in a week-long new production for the Royal Opera House at their grand opening of ROH Production Park, in Thurrock, Essex. To open this spectacular new building, Tony Hornecker (Visual Arts Director for the ROH) has been commissioned to create an installation within the grounds of the production site. Joanna Marie shall perform as the Soprano soloist at the event.

Pack up your troubles and smile :) Joanna Marie is set to perform for The Royal Society of St George next month for their Winston Churchill celebrations. Dame Vera Lynn is Patron of the Society, and Joanna Marie's favourite singer. Our girl will be performing as the Special Guest for the night - with her set including some of Dame Vera's greatest hits.
Joanna Marie races for life
Yesterday, Joanna Marie joined 3,500 other runners for Tesco's CancerResearchUK's Race for Life 10k Run in Victoria Park, London. Training with friends, Joanna raised £350 for the charity and finished in 53.30mins! Congratulations to our girl and everyone involved...check out the gallery for pictures from the event!
Macmillan Charity Opera Gala Success!
Following a sucessful tour of Northern Italy, Joanna Marie joined her fellow singers from The Royal Academy of Music to perform a selection of arias and scenes from some of the most famous Italian Operas. Organised by Joanna's friend Soprano Sophie Biebuyck, the night raised £2,000 for Macmillan Cancer Research and was a Opera Gala night enjoyed by all involved. Watch this space for future events!
Joanna Marie becomes Patron to Corbets Tey School
Joanna Marie was awarded a Patronage of Corbets Tey School, in her hometown of Upminster, Essex. Joanna has been an admirer and avid supporter of the school for many years and recently performed with English Touring Opera in their new 'Speakout' production featuring every child from Corbets Tey. The show was a smash hit, selling out and raising thousands for charity. On the back of this, Joanna helped the school celebrate its 1-year "Speakout" anniversary, as the show has become a message and motto for everyone involved.
